The real challenge for students is choosing post-graduation employment. To make their choice easier career centers and employers develop different programs such as resume referral services and job fairs. They must provide such situation in which students will be able openly, freely and objectively choose employment opportunities; the recruitment process will be fair for students and employers; students will get solid support making their decisions. 

Things expected from your career center

1. Free choice
Career center staff will help you in developing your career plan but all decisions will be made by you.
It will be better if you have interview only with employers you are truly interested in working for.
2. Possibility of participation in all events
Career centers must give students all information about the whole range of services and events. And the price should be nominal so every student could afford visiting them. 
3. Accessibility of career information
All students must be aware of all career opportunities and types of employing organizations. The staff of career centers must inform you how and where you can find the information the employer you are interested in.
4. Information about Tests
Career centers must give you the information about all possible tests and their purpose. 

Things expected from employers

1. Confidentiality
All information given the employer about you is confidential. The employer can’t disclose it to another organization without your agreement.
2. Faithful information
You must get only faithful information from employers about their organizations and employment opportunities. So you should be aware of available positions, responsibilities, benefits and career advancement opportunities.
3. Absence of pressure
Employers must give you such amount of time that will be suitable for you to make a decision about accepting an employment offer. Employers have no tights to pressure you trying to revoke your acceptance of another job offer.
4. Information about tests
You must be aware of any testing in advance.
5. Nondiscrimination
Employers must avoid discrimination and give equal employment opportunities for everyone.

What is Expected from You

1. You must give faithful information about your academic work and records, previous positions and duties, taken courses.
You have a right not to name the organizations that have made you offers and not to give the information about the salaries.
2. Interview sincerely
Have interviews only with those employers you are sincerely interested in. Don’t waste your and their time.
3. Don't keep employers hanging
Inform employers about your acceptance or refusal of a job offer as soon as possible to give them time for considering other candidates.
4. Find any possible information about career opportunities to make the right choice.
5. Stick to schedules
Appear for all interviews in time no matter what could happen. Inform an employer or career center in advance if you can’t make the interview.
