The Manchester-based businessman Reuben Singh has launched a business scholarship fund for students wishing to study at United Kingdom universities. Here is all about it.

Who is Reuben Singh?

Reuben Singh is the founder of Manchester-headquartered alldayPA – the telephone answering service for Small and Medium Enterprises and entrepreneurs. He is tracing his passion for helping young entrepreneurs and a conviction that business education in the United Kingdom should be anchored in real-world requirements and scenarios.

Scholarship Funding Amount

The scholarship provided students with up to 9,000 British Pound in funding for tuition fees for the academic 2016/2017, and will give them the chance to continue their studies at the same time running their successful enterprise.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be United Kingdom resident undergraduates with a confirmed place at university for the academic year 2016/17. They can be anything from (1) fledgling eBay entrepreneurs, (2) founders of social enterprise start-ups, (3) even those involved in business activities linked to schools, social groups or community causes.

How to Apply

Hopefuls can enter the scheme by filling out an application form and submitting an essay of no more than 2,500 words, addressing the following questions:

  • What does entrepreneurship stand for to you?
  • What does the future outlook of business look like to you?
  • Identify the next big international or domestic market and confer why you feel this is truly a big opportunity
  • Provide evidence of their entrepreneurial exercises to date, including cases of endeavors or attempts they have embraced.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview with the Reuben Singh Scholarship panel.
